How to Spend a Day Off From the Kitchen

So, I have the day off............
Make ice cream base for cream cheese ice cream and chill in ice cream maker
Dice carrots for soup

Chop leeks for soup
Dice celery for soup

Dice turnips for soup

Dice parsnips for soup

Dice beef for soup

Julienne kale for soup
Finish making killer pot of Beef Barley Soup
Bake Double-Ginger Gingerbread and finish with completed Cream Cheese Ice Cream

Now, that's my kind of day off!!!!
